Mobile devices have become an inseparable part of our lives, shaping the way we move through everyday life and engage in mundane tasks, such as travel. “Nomophobia” is an immersive experience that challenges participants to confront their relationship with technology and its effects on their well-being.

The work is full of contradicting interventions that mimic the experience one has with their mobile device while moving through everyday. Nearly all senses will be activated through haptic feedback, calming smells, enticing and indecisive visuals while integrating binaural beats at 40hz with cell phone pings to release similar types of dopamine hits that the relationship with your device creates.

Nomophobia aims to bring awareness to the potentially toxic and addictive relationship between humanity and technology.
